Welcome to my site. This site is dedicated to my photography hobby along with my love for nature, the ocean and the amazing life in it. All the pictures on this site are pictures that I have taken over the last several years throughout my travels.
The perfect picture is a hard thing to take. I may like one out of every twenty or even fifty pictures I take. Although when I do get "the shot" I can't wait to get back and see how it turned out. Taking the picture is only half the fun though, going through all the pictures I took and processing the ones I like is the other half. I find standing in front of one subject taking picture after picture is very therapudic and relaxing, plus you never know what kind of shot you will get if you stand there long enough. On top of having the subject facing the right way and having enough light, getting the focus perfect and framing correct is a real challenge for me. On many occasions I've taken a picture and thought it was perfect just to find out it was slightly out of focus or the color was off or I just chopped off part of the subject. It is a bit frustrating but I look at it as an opportunity to go back and try again which I have done ona number of occasions.

Having a membership to places like the zoo or a local aquarium or even having a botanic garden near helps too. I have even been driving down the street, seen something and wished I had a camera with me.

The pictures on this site have been taken at local zoos, aquariums and gardens on top of other cities, states and countries. There are coral and fish from Hawaii, Florida, Mexico and many parts of the Caribbean. I have pictures of animals from all over the world that I have seen at zoos, wildlife preserves and nature centers. The plants I've seen and taken pictures of are from gardens, nursuries, trails and even backyards.
